Vet care: Before puppies leave, they have been inspected by a veterinarian and have received their 1st puppy vaccine and de-wormer. Puppies can be micro-chipped at buyer’s expense.

Health Testing: All our adult dogs have been DNA health tested and OFA hip and elbow tested and have received good scores. To see that information click HERE

Early puppy training: We spend lots of time handling the puppies from day one, always finding new sounds and feels for them to discover. We put them in crates, take them for car rides, and take them on walks. All this helps prepare them for the many things they may encounter in life, making the transition to their new home smoother. The puppies learn to use a doggy door early on and naturally start taking themselves outside to go to the bathroom. By the time they are 6 weeks old, they are almost completely 'house-broke'. (Of course you will have to give them a grace period adjusting to their new home, and learning to tell when they need out if you do not have a doggy door, but it is a helpful start in the right direction!)

Reserving a puppy: We have a waiting list for upcoming puppies. If you would like to be added to the list, we need a $500 non-refundable deposit payable via PayPal or check. If, after having submitted a deposit, there are not enough puppies in the next litter for you to receive one, we give you the option of rolling the deposit over to the next litter. If there ARE enough puppies, we will pair you up with a puppy we think will work well for you. You have the option AT THAT TIME to accept our offered puppy, or wait for the next litter. (If you wait for the next litter, you once again will be offered a puppy we think would be a good match for you. If you still decline to accept it, your deposit is fortified and the transaction becomes void.)

Receiving a puppy: After reserving a puppy, you will be able to view updates on our website complete with pictures and occasional videos. When the puppy is 8 weeks old, it is ready to join you at your home. You may either pick it up at our house (or we’ll meet up with you within an hour drive from our house), meet us at the Montrose or Grand Junction airport, or we can ship it to you (when available). Puppy must be paid for in full at this time. If you are unable to receive your puppy right away, we are willing to continue to board your puppy until it is convenient for you, if you have paid the balance. Cost for board is $225 per week from 9 weeks on. If puppy has not been paid for in full by 9 weeks old, sale is subject to cancellation.

Continued education: If you would like us to train your puppy before you take it home, we are happy to help! We can teach your puppy to sit, down, stay, come, walk on a leash, travel, visit new places, navigate new obstacles, and be comfortable meeting people. Board/Training is $450 per week, with a 6 week minimum. We only take a few puppies in training at a time to ensure personal and quality attention. So if you want your puppy to stay with us for training, reserve your spot early!
